About Me

 

Hi, I'm Heather. I've been alive for almost 25 years now and have loved every single minute of it, even the hard times. I just moved into a cozy little one bedroom apartment in the Washington Metropolitan area with my pup (Kyleigh) and finally have a place I can call my own. I'm very excited about this and generally excited about anything that falls into the "cozy" category. Having a cozy place that I can call home has always been a priority for me. I'm really excited about starting a new chapter in my life, even though change can sometimes scare me. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. My favorite color's green. I'm probably the clumsiest person you'll ever meet but I wouldn't trade my awkward moments for anything. They just make for good storytelling. I love anything mistmatched. Mismatched chairs, plates..whatever. Love it. My favorite thing to do in the world is to drive down a country road in my car (nicknamed Rufus) with all the windows down blaring a song that defines my state of mind at the time. I love music and only have one regeret - that I never learned to play the guitar. It seems to be my life mission to find a quote to define every moment, good, bad or ugly, in my life. I'm not easily embarrassed. Even when I should be. I feel that words are one of the most powerful weapons on earth. They can make you cry, laugh, think twice or fall in love. But most of all they can ignite your imagination making reality a little more fanciful. I'm a huge bookworm and tend to read anything and everything I can get my hands on. However, Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass will forever and always be my favorites. I hope that this blog will allow me to share my love of reading with others. I'm pretty new to the blogging community but very excited about beginning this adventure.
